Stone Setting – Jewelry Workshop

Looking to create hand-made gifts for someone special this Valentine’s day? Come learn basic jewelry fabrication to create a stone pendant.
Learn how to use basic jewelry tools, how to work with non-ferrous metals, and how to solder on metal to set a stone and create beautiful jewelry. We will construct a pendant with a stone cabochon set in a bezel setting. You will have a completed pendant by the end of class. Some metal experience required, must have take one of the other jewelry classes, or demonstrate the knowledge necessary. Tools and equipment will be available during class to build your unique project(s). Just come and have fun!

Carrin Olsen has been the Jewelry Zone Manager here at Idea Fab Labs from the beginning. Come get motivated and learn how to make your own jewelry. Her passion, knowledge, and experience will be sure to inspire.
Due to instructor at beginning of class- sheet metal, 3 different grits of sand paper, silver bezel, stone cabochon, solder, flux, and brush. Jeweler’s saw with blades will be available for an additional $10 if preordered.
