Exploring Electronics with the Raspberry Pi Pico

This multi-part class will help guide you in using the Raspberry Pi Pico microcontroller as a vehicle to explore electronics. Along the way you’ll be learning some electronics theory, writing some Python code that will run on the Pico, some circuit breadboarding, and basic measurement techniques. Join your teacher for two 4-hour sessions, one week apart, on Sunday, August 18th, and Sunday, August 25th. The ticket price includes both sessions and required materials. Please bring your laptop, and make sure your laptop type is approved. *check the list below, or email us to confirm.

Prerequisite Knowledge: Beginning Algebra (recommended).
Windows PC experience [able to install and operate applications] (required).

Teacher Bio: Hello, I’m David! I’m a forty-plus-year veteran of Silicon Valley, working in tiny startups to one of the legendary monster companies, and everything in between. My specialty was designing and building Automated Test Systems for the Telecom, Datacom, and Aerospace sectors. Additionally, I have a BSIT from San Jose State University.
