Join us for First Friday and experience “IN THE 7TH YEAR” a collection of works by IFL member Joe Fenton!
Seven is the number of completion and rest. Seven shows up in profound, meaningful systems spanning nature, science, religion and culture (rainbows, music scale, deadly sins, sacred foods,…). Tangram (aka The Seven Boards of Skill)… is an ancient geometric puzzle form, which for centuries, at various places in history, has been played with to form an endless catalog of pictogram images from 7 basic shapes.
Witness Joe’s exploration of Tangram forms as he enters his seventh year of pursuing art as a profession.
