Create something unique and special for your feathered friends! Join us for an exciting two-hour session where you can construct your own custom birdhouse with a laser cutter! Choose from three different shapes for your birdhouse and customize it with a unique prop of your choosing – from a bird mailbox to a windmill and even a Santa Cruz logo with a bird on it – your feathered friends will love it! About Your Instructor:
Hailing from Southern Oregon, Ky Faubion lives to build cool stuff. Redwood burl tables, 7 foot long skateboards, wooden eagle feathers and more. After spending a decade at a makerspace called TechShop in San Francisco, Ky learned from a rich source of tribal knowledge in the Bay Area; anything from wood working to welding, rapid prototyping, 3D modeling and scanning, augmented reality and more.
