Woodshop Class: Build Your Own Hardwood Plant Stand
April 12 @ 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm | $100
Event Navigation

Class Description:
This course will teach you how to build a custom, hardwood plant stand. Elevate your beautiful plant and your spaces’ aesthetic! Odds are, if you bring them a bit closer to eye level, you’ll be less likely to forget to water them!
During this class you will learn to use techniques such as template routing, half-lap joinery, and dowel joinery. You will improve your skills at using the table saw, shaper (router table), and bandsaw. A one-session (4 hour) class means by the end of the night, you’ll be walking out with your own, handmade stand to take home with you.
Provided templates will fit a standard 10” pot. If you have a particular design or pot in mind, we can easily adjust the design to fit. If you are familiar with the laser-cutter and are an Idea Fab Labs member you can make your own templates before the class to create a stand of your own design.
