This is the face society so often decides to show us, but beneath this picturesque facade lie the rugged mechanics of intention and struggled action that drive this projection forward. For this next exhibit, the Idea Fab Labs Tech Art Incubator Program proudly presents MODUS OPERANDI: THE KINETIC WORKS OF ADON NEWMAN.
Utilizing his background in engineering, Adon has created a striking new collection of pieces that explore this relationship between seen and unseen. Each hypnotically functional design is a seamless flow of cogs and levers pushing the light from the shadows. Created digitally and brought to life via laser-cut wood, these tediously assembled structures provide a glimpse into both sides of this existential dichotomy simultaneously. Come take a closer look into just why things operate the way they do.
