Looking to create hand-made gifts for the Holidays for someone special? Come learn basic jewelry fabrication to create earrings, hair sticks, and bracelets with hammer forming and texturing in the first of our Holiday Jewelry Series classes.

Class Description:

Learn how to use basic jewelry tools, how to work with non-ferrous metals, and how to form and texture metal to create beautiful jewelry. We will be using hammering techniques to form and texture gauged wire into beautiful earrings, hair sticks, and bracelets. You will have completed at least one project by the end of class. No experience necessary. Tools and equipment will be available during class to build your unique project(s). Just come and have fun!

What to Bring:

Please bring an apron and any other jewelry hammers or tools you may have. All other tools and materials will be provided.

Materials cost– due to instructor at beginning of class- includes 3 different gauges of wire, 3 different grits of sand paper, and a set of 12 jeweler’s files.
