New Member Orientation

The orientation is a mandatory introductory course for new or prospective members. If you are interested in joining Idea Fab Labs and want more in-depth information about the space, tools, and community ethos, join us for our bi-monthly orientation.
New Member Orientation starts at 7 pm, immediately after our Open House which is held from 5-7 pm.
You are invited to see our equipment, take a tour, and get a feel for what IFL has to offer! Read more about becoming a member.
Find us in the Old Wrigley Building on the west side of Santa Cruz.
Community!
The IFL facility is active with just over 120 members. Hobbyists, inventors, tinkerers, educators, craftspeople, artists, and entrepreneurs interested in making all sorts of different things. Come participate!

Free Training
Our Safety Classes are free with membership! When you become a member, you can get cleared on tool usage for free. Get started the week you join, make to your heart’s content!
